Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship-for-Service Program

The Department of Defense’s (DOD) SMART program is an educational and workforce development opportunity for STEM students, offering scholarships for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students pursuing a degree in one of 24 STEM disciplines, including several related to AI. SMART scholars receive full tuition, annual stipends, and guaranteed employment with the DOD after graduation.
